Jus went for a trip to malacca last 2 wks ago. We had a gr8 time, especially at the hotel. The only problem was the traffic. The traffic on the way to malaysia was horrible! Hav to wait 2 hrs jus to get through the customs. Especially the Singapore one, still hav to check the faces of the the ppl one by one! The roads there are also terrible, all one- way one, miss the turn and u hav to spend lots of time finding your way back. The first day was the worst! My family and my frend, Nigel had to stay in the car for 5 hrs jus to get to malaysia. Nxt, we couldnt find a place to eat, den Nigel end up having gastirc. We hav to even end up eating in a malay food centre, all selling the same stuff, malay food. Luckily there is a stall selling burgers, or I wouldnt noe wat to eat. We went back to the hotel all tired.
Second day, It was much better, frm the help of my dad's frend in malacca, we finally got to eat the traditional nonya food in a famous restaurant. If my dad's frend, raymond didnt show up and book a table at the nonya restaurant, we would hav to eat malay food again. We were also guided by uncle raymond to many street stalls in malacca, and we finally see a shopping centre. We spend the rest of the afternoon in it. The things were extremely cheap, so we bought loads of stuff back. You could see billabong wallets selling at RM 10, CDs selling at RM 6 and many more. The main objective of this trip was to attend my dad's frend's wedding, so we went back to the hotel early to prepare for the banquet. At the end of the day, we were so tired that I jus hit the pillow and fall asleep.
Last day, I hate this day, the day to leave malacca. The same thing, waiting in the car for hrs jus to get pass the custom.... I wish I could go to malacca again.
